Aston Martin AMR24

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

No news there but Here's a rear shot anyways.

Even with that small winglet not making it easy the latest pitstops have been decent, so practice must be paying off.

i really can't understand what's the purpose of that small winglet on crash structure. does it justify failing the pitstop risk?

no they modified the jack so it doesn't hit it.

Where are the pics from?
A general reminder to everyone, please, in general, acknowledge in one way or another where the pictures come from. A link is ideal, but not the only way.
It can lead to copiright issues for this site otherwise.

Not yet from what I've seen, but I believe we should at least expect new sidepods/sidepod inlets and new or revised floor. Also from what I've read this package will be Aston's last big upgrade so we should expect more than that.

Image from pitstop practice. We can see the new sidepod but, for now, no new sidepod inlet.
