The site has been loading slowly over the last couple of days. Occasional 502 bad gateway errors also.

Same here. I reported this yesterday. @Hollus answered Steven was aware of it but nothing changed.
It takes 15-20 sec to open a thread or I get a 502 bad gateway errors on my screen. This is so frustrating.
It took me just 20 minutes to post something about the sprintrace!!

Yep, horrendous on mobile. I've made an account specifically to complain as I'm usually a lurker.

However, it loads quicker on my laptop. I get 502 errors or it just times out on my mobile. I thought it was my end for a few days until I saw @Wouter say something too

That was another botnet attack, this time from Singapore.
I blocked thousands of IPs.

I don't get the point of this, except to annoy me

Same for me. It takes ages to post a message or to open a page since a couple a days.

Yes much better now, when I looked at the "Whos online" when the site was slow, there was over 4000 guest's on the site, now it's down to 2500, I guess there was another bot attack

Yep. Being tackled as we speak.

Did Steve make some enemies we don't know about?
