Both cars share the same chassis , the only obvious difference between them is the higher cockpit side protection for VJM01 and the new wings . It is clear that the new VJM01[/b is an evolution of last year's Spyker VII B-spec which was the slowest car in 2007 . So Force India would probably remain the slowest car in 2008 also because you can not improve dramatically a very slow and outdated car . The only strong point will be their Ferrari engine .I am sure that the team will need a completely new car during the season to grab a point or two .

That curved rear wing was first seen in Turkey Gp 2007.

What you are showing is NOT the real 2008 car they only showed the livery for the new car and not the new car, the new car will be launched on 25 February (i thought not really sure)

My comparison is between Force India VJM01 and Spyker VII-B spec . I never said that VJM01 would be the 2008 competitor . It is the team's test car till now and as far as you can see is an evolution of VII-B spec .

Maybe VJM01 will actually participate in the first few races in 2008 because the new car has never been tested and reliability can not be taken for granted .

anything said they are posting amazing times in the testing probably the new engine or aero development, but nice to see smaller teams high on the time charts

I am not 100% sure but it looks like they have added some 'wing' at the bottom of the front suspension.

New situation.

I am not exactly how the 'earodynamic casing around the front suspension is called, but it looks to me as they have changed that aera too, together with the 'ears'.

They look exactly the same.

The colours are too different to compare the engine cover I think.. All 3 colours reflect light differently

I guess that's why that Spyker engine cover looks just a tiny bit fatter (at the lower back side that is).
