Hello.

When F1 car starts to experience significant downforce?

By 'significant' i mean when downforce starts to provide more grip then mechanical components. I know real grip is only provided by mechanical components and that there's no aerodynamic grip - but i'm sure you know what i mean :)

well they say often at 200k/hr a F1 car can be theoretically driven upside down
therefore it implies that at 200k/hr a F1 car will generate 600kg of down force and hence at this point there is surely more aero than mechanical grip

you cant really seperate the 2 kinds of grip since without mechanical grip, aero grip will be useless

About 160km/h in a monaco downforce trim.
