Mirrors apparently are now integral part of the aero config and are almost useless for their primary purpose. This by itself is a safety issue that requires the attention of the FiA in my view.

We have more cars an track now and the speed differentials are much greater than last season. IMHO the FiA should make a safety motivated rule change and require the mirrors to be firmly fixed to the monocoque within the next three races. It would be the same for all and would help to avoid the blocking issues which are going to be a problem this year.

Something has to be done. But I'm not sure if the FiA has to be the one who enforces it. I think it's a thing that the F1DA (Drivers Association) should be complaining and championing it. Boycott a race, we won't drive unless we have good mirrors. That'll sort the teams out swiftly

Something has to be done, yes. We can't have drivers racing close-quarters and not knowing who's where. Several incidents can be avoided, especially those in the first few corners.
