Sad news, sorry to hear it. In terms of timing, at least the media frenzy regarding Kubica is likely to offer the de la Rosa family a bit of privacy.

Excuse my ignorance, was his father a figure on the racing scene or a public figure in some other way? Otherwise I can't see why this would warrant attention, it is purely private matter.
