Couldn't find a thread about this years' race. So here goes.
Any predictions on class wins? Apart from Peugeot or Audi winning LMP1?
Is anyone here going to France to see it live? (I am

)

No :p.
If you'll look at the wing angle, there'd be very little point in a duct even if there were room in the regulations. (At LM, all cars have been hitting the limiter on the straights for years anyway)

The team has entrusted veteran sportscar outfit Lehmann as the tuner of the two-liter turbo engine. Further details of the power plant, including its branding, is expected at a later date.
Unlike Corsa Motorsports’ battery-based KERS system seen in the American Le Mans Seres in 2008, Hope PoleVision’s Flybrid system is of a flywheel construction, similar to that used in Porsche’s 911 GT3 R Hybrid.

So far it failed tech, after not being able to run the length of the pitlane using solely electric power.

Electric power in a flywheel system? Please explain.

They don't use the flywheel to output directly to mechanical drivetrain, but use it to power an electrical motor to drive the wheels....like the Porsche GT3 Hybrid, which is the Williams system....
Though I thought Flybrid is actually a mechanical system...

AFAIK their excuse was, that they were made to do only a lap of the Bugatti circuit before 'electri-pitting' (LOL) so the car couldn't store as much energy as it would on a full lap.

BMW Motosport is out for revenge!
I hope Audi can fix their problems, Peugot was superior in race pace at Spa.
