I think there’s positives in that there is decent performance, and at face value plenty of opportunity for enhancements to the aero given again at face value looks quite vanilla compared to some of the more again at face value refined designs.
The non-DRS top speed was one of the highest yesterday I think (haven't seen today) so they may have been running less RW, which could reduce the impact of DRS.

I don't know if it's the optical effect but the diffuser roof has a very strange shape.

Have Ferrari ran any flow vis? Not seen many pics of the car with any on, intrigued to see the flow round the new undercut

There is a novel "dent" in diffuser roof right in front of trailing edge, appears triangular in rear view. Seems to be a local introduction of additional curvature, possibly to work better with new beam wing design.

Other than that, the outwash flicks introduced early in 2022 in diffuser corners have grown significantly. These used to be so small that they probably only introduced local lateral curvature to locally increase the suction a bit more, but now it really looks like a very significant lateral expansion surface. Especially important along the roof, of course

Please remember that lap times and being faster or not than a certain blue car, belong in the team thread, not the car thread.
Specially future possible evolutions of said blue car do not belong in a Ferrari car thread.
Some posts have been moved, some have been deleted.
Let’s keep the car threads specially focused.

Corner "bulges" were there since F1-75 was launched, way past time for the "experts" to step up their game.

Same with the S-duct or the bathtub (and cooling outlets). S-duct is now a Red Bull development and the bathtub morphology (and cooling outlets here) on the engine cover is attributed to Merc (I know they were the first to use it in this location)...

Was asking my self when I saw on other non so good pic is it a reflection. Seems like they worked hard on the floor/diffuser. Also that vortices generators (if they are) in the area before the gearbox aprox. think that they are new, but can not remember for sure (KimiRai picture).

Diffuser pictures with 3D shapes marked and flow-viz on front axle.
Vanja already said that most probably new introduced shape on the uper part is for better air extraction.
I think that Alberto A. said exactly the same, aero guy who works in racing industry.
