Since Spain, Brawn is introducing updates all over its car, some smaller than others. At Monaco the BGP 001 featured updated mirror supports. Up to now, the team was running a twin element support while the new version is a much thicker aerofoil. Such in-season change of a previously simple element marks the team's search for performance improvement in areas where aerodynamic development is still allowed.
Indeed I noticed it too but haven't got a decent pic.
Perhaps this was just a Monaco only addition in the search for the massive downforce required in Monaco?
i dont think so, how can a lift shaped mirror support create massive downforce?
If it does, it will be usefull for the rest of the season too as its airflow is cleaner ove rthe rear creating more rear end downforce

There also is a new fin just above the bargeoard, i think that was allowed as you couldnt see it from above by these supports
