Ferrari 312 B2

Ferrari 312 B2 imageActive: 1971 - 1973
Team: Scuderia Ferrari SpA

The B2 had a slightly revised engine and a completely modified suspension system compared to the Ferrari 312 B. To reduce the non-suspended weight, the rear springs were mounted almost horizontally over the gearbox. The spring-shock absorber groups were also lengthened and shifted towards the centre of the car.

The car was good for just a single win with Jacky Ickx while Clay Regazzoni put the car in third on two occasions.
