Multi- millionaire and heir to the Woolworth empire, Lance Reventlow decided to take on the might of Europe with a front-engined car based on his successful sports car design.
Basing itself in Kingston upon Thames the team soon realised their Goodyear shod cars were outdated and returned to America, closing down in 1962.
