Top Gear - Monaco

Post

Normally, Top Gear is not focussed too hard on F1, but this week, episode 2 was great.

All three guys drove hot hatches of their choosing around Monaco during the Grand Prix weekend.

Clarkson was taught the lap by Bernie, May by Flavio, and Hammond by Horner.

It was very entertaining for the F1 fan for sure.

They should have had the McLaren 12C and the Ferrari 458 with the Renault, to show how far behind Renault is in F1!

That would be Captain Really Slow.

Maybe the Stig could have driven one of those Red-Bull Minis you see...

And some Indian guy could pay to drive a really slow SEAT!

It's the Top Gear Grand Prix of Monaco!

Something tells me Flavio and Jezza would be best mates in real life. Not quite sure why though...

Man, I'm watching it right now! It is absolutely hilarious! Bernie, Horner and Flavio with Top Gear trio was not what I expected to see, but it is very fun to watch.

2:25 by an amateur driver on a ds3r. 1:14 for a professional driver on a formula 1 car
145s vs 74s, 196%.

I thought there would be WAAAAAAAAY much more difference.

A formula 1 can do it in half the time, almost. But with a car that does 4g cornering, 5g braking, 3g(?) accelerating. And has 700-800 hp.

Probably in a not so tight circuit the difference would be made clear.

Since I have a better perception of the size of those regular cars, I could clearly feel the size of the circuit. It's really narrow. And with the "nose" camera it seems they where going fast.
