Haven´t done the numbers but just right of the bat it had less then 33% win rate, less then 50% qual-rate, and less then 20% fastlap-rate.

Any other dominant cars in history?

Dang, I was just calculating the MP4/4's #'s as I knew it was the most dominant F1 car of all time.

In terms of pure dominance I think the ActiveRide FW15C trumps the MP4/4, as in 1993 Williams suffered many mechanical breakdowns/blowouts/etc. in the races.
F1 car width now 2.0m (same as 1993-1997). Lets go crazy and bring the 2.2m cars back (<1992).

With what figures can you ascertain this? DNF's don't matter. If you DNF, that's not dominance, the complete opposite, actually. In order to dominate you have to be fast AND reliable

You can't just go by results - you've got to look at the circumstances - like the weird events at Monza and the Brabham fan car popping in for a race. Also, since the car was raced for two seasons, the second season waters down the car's stats. No doubt, the Lotus 79 was a powerful car. Though I admit it wasn't the most reliable - I don't know for sure where it would fall in your list but I think it would be a mistake to leave it off.

In the end I don't think it matters, because the MP4-4 wins this competition by a country mile, I think.

Ferrari 500 cannot remember the stats but won every race in 1st year and I think all but a few the next year.

Nah, the FW15c failed to win 5 races in which both cars finished.

As you say in your quote, reliability matters. Thus if a car is spending more time in the garage then winning races, taking poles, fastest laps it can´t exactly be called dominant.

In order to be dominant you have to actually be dominant.

Edit: you removed the quote, but you know what i referred to.

Some discount to how good the MP4/4 really was must be given since it where Senna and Prost driving it... but yeah, I guess it wins it.

Yeah, but I think if you only look at the car's first season, then even accounting for reliability, the car still makes the list.
