Notable absentees being the STRs, Saubers, Pic and Glock (I think he has a contract?).

Interesting that Nico Rosberg is Number 9, despite Hamilton outscoring him in 2012 (which is generally how teams assign the numbers)

Edit: the report this list came from mentions some 'TBA' are due to no drivers being allocated yet.

Both Ricciardo and Vergne are confirmed. As are the two Saubers, and Pic at Caterham. The issue here is not that STR hasn't signed them, it's that they haven't been assigned numbers yet.

The thing that looks strange is Merc's appearance as no 3 entry on the list getting nos 5 and 6 for their drivers. That place in the constructors belong to Lotus. Does anybody have detail behind that anomaly?

That's team entry 5 - not team entry 3. Team entry 3 is McLaren.
