Mexico GP confirmed for 2015 season

"The Mexican Grand Prix will to return to F1 after a 23-year absence after organisers agreed a five-year deal starting in the 2015 season

The race has been mooted for a return to F1 for a while and was even included on the provisional calendar for 2014, only to fail to make the final cut. The race is being backed by Mexican businessman Carlos Slim Domit, the richest man in the world, and Tavo Hellmund, the creator and mastermind of the F1 USGP and Circuit of the Americas in Austin."

The track seems pretty old school to me. I dont know if it will be a good race or not looks kind of boring but kinda cool to see the race in Mexico back or am i wrong is this type of Track good? what do you guys think. I personally think its good to see more races. So im happy with it how will it fit the Schedule when is it scheduled i wonder... "A gap in the calendar, as well as taking logistics into account, means it is likely the race will run back-to-back with the United States Grand Prix held in Austin, although a concrete date is yet to be decided."___ ESPN so its not certain but it could be raced back to back with Austin. a US - Mexico GP week end. followed by what?

I wonder if we get to see images like this again, Ickx and Stewart passing an enthusiastic crowd in the 1970 Mexican GP?

What? People sat in dangerous locations totally unprotected from any out of control car? Or old fashioned cars with primitive aero devices?
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

I don't think you'll ever see fans standing 20 feet from the edge of the track again

certain "jokes" are typically made only by certain kind of person......

your idiots.
But moving on.....

I think this circuit cannot be brought into the modern F1 with out some updates i really do think its to "old school" outdated with out being really having any significant signature traits to this track like Spa for example i think this could be a boring track like Monza. but i just think its too outdated i hope they invest on it greatly. I think they are more then capable of it. but with only a year they probably wont do anything to the track itself other then the basic FIA updates. Hope more data comes up on the track.

So this is in Spanish

but it basically states their doing a full remodel its going to be a completely new track and it will be done this year.....

I wonder if it can be done. Props to them if they make the calendar....
