Yeah nicely modified Corvette Don's got there, & so - the ol' man gave him a real Testa Rossa to tool about in..
Don did like a rag-top Hemi Cuda as a TV car too, though.. ( Now that Ferrari & Mopar are in bed..)

Miami Vice Ferrari Testarossa
For sale on eBay with a Buy It Now price of $1.75M, the seller says he has the all of the service history paperwork and documentation from Ferrari North America. According to the seller, he bought it about three years ago; before that, it was last sold in 1991 and sat in a Miami garage for years, so it has 16,000 miles (25,750 kilometres) on the odometer. The Hagerty Price Guide Report shows Testarossa values have nearly doubled in four years, but a pristine find should still only fetch about $93,500, just to make sure you're clear on the seller's Hollywood premium.

In the late 70s, a couple of shops i California converted 365 GTB/4 Daytonas to "Spyders". Sacrilege, only in America;

Hey X, you do realize that California loves rag-tops.. & that "Spyders" double the asking price..

..even of such relatively common or garden machines as the Plymouth Cuda or Jag XKE..

..which also got the roof chop..

True, I have learned that those conversions sells for more than the un-converted originals. Fascinating that.

A shame the car performed this poor. To me it's one of the most beautiful F1 contenders ever. And those radiator entries!

Also, the initial version of 412T1 was sexy.

A car back in page 5 or 6 made me remember this:
