F1 results database

Post

Hello guys,

I am sure this is available to all motorsport "pro" journalists, but is there some kind of database with all results in F1 from 1950? FP, qualifying, races, etc. I guess some SQL databases must exist, but I am even looking for some kind of excel file, tables, or a website with a constant patent to display these stats.

Cheers!

:)

The Ergast Developer API (http://ergast.com/mrd/) is probably your best bet if you're at least somewhat technically-minded. However, qualifying results etc. are not available until the 1990s, but that's at least a little bit better than the FOM website.

I like this one best (includes pre-1990 quali-results):

Thank you guys, ergast seem to be more practical imo!

Not sure where to put this but a little question:
(mods, please relocate it if necessary)

Vettel won 9 races in a row in 2013.
Suppose that he had won melbourne 2014, would it have counted as 10 or does it "stop" after every season?
Mercedes AMG + Hamilton => dreamteam!
If you can't beat'em, call Masi!

That would have counted as 10 in a row, but not 10 in a row in a season.

Hi Kiril,
there came a question into my mind: what do the last digits mean e.g. 03 at "Red Bull Racing-Renault RB9/03"? Is this the chassis-number?
