how come you have not visited Montlhéry, just outside Paris

It is in quiet good nike

I visited Montlhéry twice, both when I came back from the 24 Hours of le Mans :)

But both times I found the gate closed and they didn't let me in. So all I have from Montlhéry are two photos from the outside of the banking, which can be found here http://www.circuitsofthepast.nl/en-US/p ... =0&AG_MK=0

I visited Riverside in 2012 and I can tell you that there's nothing left of the circuit.

The RB video seems to show the track is still complete, but it looks a lot worse in your pictures. I imagine RB had to tidy up a lot of scrub and debris to make their video.

@ Richard: Yes Red Bull cleaned up the track before they could use it. On my website you see also a big hole in the track. On the RB video you can see that they marked it with pylons

Here a video from one of my favorite abandoned circuits, Nivelles in Belgium.

The first time I visited Nivelles was in 1998. I did also a few illegal laps :) Later that year I photographed a complete lap. These photos can be found here http://www.circuitsofthepast.nl/en-US/n ... apnivelles

Most challenging part was the "Big Loop", two very fast corners. I loved this section. It's a pitty that this circuit had such a bad reputation.

not F1 but old race tracks are still cool right

Bridgehampton New York

Track is located on long island most of the larger course is now a golf course.

It stood at the pinnacle of American car racing during the golden age of the sport in the 50s and 60s. They called it “The Bridge” and mostly they loved and feared the place. Stirling Moss called it the “most challenging course in America ” and routinely it embarrassed world class drivers during the heyday of the Can-Am, Trans-Am and international sports car races. It was a place of wonderfully diabolical natural beauty.
I did have the opportunity to abuse a rental car on what is left of it.
