Pit Boom dimensions and regulations

Hi all,
Are there any experts in here who know what the regulations for the Pit Booms (the aluminium tube the Pit/Wheel Guns are attached to) are? It seems like the teams all have they own styles and versions of them - althought the height and lenght seems to be somehow close to each other (about 2m - 2.2m heigh and about 4meter long).

I don't think there are any specific regulations. Just that all the hardware shouldn't obstruct other cars in the pitlane. Which is why in that particular picture mechanics are holding the hoses.
