At least ten of the Formula One teams, Ferrari, McLaren, BMW, Renault, Williams, Toyota, Red Bull, Honda, Toro Rosso and Force India, are expected to test at the Spanish circuit this week.

Honda appear to be still struglling with setting the rear bodywork alight if the personnel walking out armed with extinguishers is anything to go by.

Keir, Ferrari and Toyota will start testing at Bahrain on Monday so they are not participating in the Barcelona test!

What is the point of so much winter testing in Spain, mainly Barcelona, if conditions are rarely useful? Most teams have complained because of the bad conditions, mainly rainy and windy, so why do they continue to come back? A few examples, Williams were affected by the "greasy" track surface from the rain, and BMW didn't even post lap times due to the horrible conditions that were present today.

Aren't there other tracks somewhere else that provide better conditions :?:

Or do teams mainly prefer testing in Barcelona because of the track characteristics that relate to other tracks that they will race on during the season :?:
