One of the worst cars ever made by Ferrari, but that was the first Ferrari I saw when I started watching GP races in 1992...
And to me that was the most beatiful car on the grid!

Heaven: Where the cooks are French, the police are British, the lovers are Greek, the mechanics are German, and it is all organized by the Swiss.

Hell: Where the cooks are British, the police are German, the lovers are Swiss, the mechanics are French, and it is all organized by the Greeks.

The shark-nosed Dino

Also here are some of the more recent cars that I think are quite underrated in terms of beauty.

EJ12.

C24 - quite stremlined design with the maddest undercut sidepods of the 00's.
Didn't perform very well though...

MP4-19B. The Monza one-off version of the car that made a TV presenter run a lap of Silverstone naked.

Adrian Newey's 1989 Leyton House had a beautifull design with a horrible livery. imagine that thing in Ferrari or BMW livery, yummy.
Image

they even had team uniforms in the same ugly colour. I think it looks better on Adrian than on the car.

Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best .............................. organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)
