Heaven: Where the cooks are French, the police are British, the lovers are Greek, the mechanics are German, and it is all organized by the Swiss.

Hell: Where the cooks are British, the police are German, the lovers are Swiss, the mechanics are French, and it is all organized by the Greeks.

Common sense question: Does he know that those walls are not as soft as the ones in Singapore?

Too funny.

Rise so high, yet so far to fall
A plan of dignity and balance for all
Political breakthrough, euphoria's high
More borrowed money, more borrowed time
Backed in a corner, caught up in the race
Means to an end ended in disgrace
Perspective is lost in the spirit of the chase

Chorus
Foreclosure of a dream
Those visions never seen
Until all is lost
Personal Holocaust
Foreclosure of a dream

Good riddance to the cheater. It was the likely outcome of the scandal. No need for further punishment. He blew his chance for F1 to hell with that Singapore stunt whoever had the idea.

He will have a hard time at NASCAR I guess. It is a sport that requires a great deal of cooperation and trust between drivers to run close in slipstream. With his rep I think he will not find it easy to be accepted by the other drivers.

Not that the 'typical' NASCAR fan is automatically homophobic, but I would assume there is a higher percentage than some other fan bases. Good old boy racing it must be true. That segues to the rumors that were flying around about Nelson and an 'inappropriate relationship' with an older man might come out of the closet with the American NASCAR fans. That might be fun for him, if there was any speed to those rumors, or maybe Flabbio just started them to get back at him.

Pardon the pun.

I appears the teams in major open-wheeel series don't want him.

I respect NASCAR drivers and teams, and although in a sense it could be considered a step down for Jr, it will actually be more difficult for him.

NASCAR drivers and the racing is tough and brutal. And especially for the truck division, there are always countless young, aggressive drivers trying to break in. To be perfectly honest, this is probably the most competitive environment in racing, and you have to be strong to survive and prosper in it.

Unless I've made a huge miscalculation, I just cannot see Piquet Jr surviving in the harsh and competitive environment of NASCAR's truck series.

I'm quite sure that when the NASCAR truck series stages a race at a short track, Ray and I will both be interested viewers. OK, just checked the truck schedule... it goes Daytona, Atlanta, and Martinsville on March 27. Put it on my schedule, March 27..

He also hints at a possible Le Mans programme.

Now, I just can't see a driver, that I've watched in the "Challenge of the Stars" kart race, a few months ago, shivering and making mistakes with only the feeling of the breath of the drivers behind him, ready for an endurance program.

He must mature if he doesn't want to make an even bigger fool of himself (he should pay close attention to the hard time his fellow countryman Bruno Senna experienced last season with Oreca...).

Megadeth rule.

Anyways.....

I reckon Piquet will do well in this series..crashing here and occasional speed required too.

He was mismanaged and dumb...and you have to reap what you sow.
