Lauda sacked as CEO of Jaguar F1

Post

Ford today announced that there would be an emphasis on technical and engineering talent as part of its restructuring. This will see Niki Lauda stand down as both CEO of Premier Performance Division and Team Principal of Jaguar-Racing, replaced in the PPD role by PI Electronics supremo and technical specialist Tony Purnell. The Team Principal role would be left open until a suitable replacement could be found.

hmmm I don't know what you guys think about it, but didn't Lauda build a way to the subtop for Jaguar this year? The design of the car wasn't his responsibility, so what is in fact the reason for his departure? :?
