well , all the talk seems to still be about upgrades for mercedes at barcelona , and longer wheelbase for schumacher

question is , does rosberg want the new wheelbase anyway ? he seems to be doing ok with the existing one  , isn't there a risk that he will be worse off if it is changed ?

No pics yet showing the reworked front wishbones/suspension, though.

anyone know how long it would take to change the wishbones ? how many other bits have to be changed to get the geometry correct ?

could it be done between sessions one and two for example ?

rosberg could start with the new set up , say not for me , swop back for session 2 ?

no problem if he then decided he did prefer the new ones after all , could easily be done overnight

I´d think it is quite easy but still you need 4 wishbones to remove from the tub and the uprights..so nothing really to be done in 10minutes..as you will need to dismantle the brake drums quite a bit. and gain access to the wishbone mounting hardware inside and out.
with the different angling of the Wishbone arms..possibly the pushrods and tierods of the steering will need adjustment or even dierent shapes to clear the new geometry. This could as well be true for the front uprights with the pushrods angled mor rearwards...with the narrow race balljoints of the pushrods directly on the upright a new angle would of course alter the available steering lock (increase
in one direction and reduce in the other direction ,possibly reducing total available steering lock-if Antiackerman does even allow for significant inside wheel steering lock...but still it will change.
I don´t think they would change ....unless the car is a dog with the new layout..but then they would be done anyways.
