Actually that blown slot rule is pretty smart, I personally think it is an workaround to the rule

From the 2011 F1 Technical Regulations:

3.12.9
In an area lying 450mm or less from the car centre line, and from 450mm forward of the rear face of the
cockpit entry template to 350mm rearward of the rear wheel centre line, any intersection of any bodywork
visible from beneath the car with a lateral or longitudinal vertical plane should form one continuous line
which is visible from beneath the car. When assessing the compliance of bodywork surfaces in this area
the aperture referred to in Article 3.12.7 need not be considered.

3.12.10
In an area lying 650mm or less from the car centre line, and from 450mm forward of the rear face of the
cockpit entry template to 350mm forward of the rear wheel centre line, any intersection of any bodywork
visible from beneath the car with a lateral or longitudinal vertical plane should form one continuous line
which is visible from beneath the car.
3.12.10 bans the DDD tunnels, effectively, unless they can figure out a way to put them at the outer 50mm of the floor (1400mm max body width)

3.12.9 bans the DDD, holes, slots, etc within 900mm. Max diffuser width is 1000mm IIRC, so you could have a blown slot at the outer 50mm of each side of the diffuser.

It seems odd to me that the FIA left out these areas for these new rules. Why not just specify the full floor and diffuser width?

the diffuser is a meter wide? I reckon we will see various developments towards the rear end plates particularly the lower portions that can interact with the beam wing, and possibly the volume of air that flows past the side pods. Does anyone know if there are strict rules for flexing end plates? They could perform under yaw load at speed kind of like keels on a surfboard.

The sidepod inlets are huge. Great work nonetheless.

you are emulating newey and Barnard .paper first .good move.

The drawing should be full size when you are done with the concept..current F1 cars are looooong so you will need a big room doing this..

I think the base idea of the difusser with that channel for the exhaust is a brilliant starting point to work on .
