That's a rather big prediction. We'll have to wait and see I guess. lol

The "marbles" might be a huge problem on the street circuits. Only predition I will make is that Petrov will crash. :o

Renault R31 reminds me very on R24.
Some conclusion:

R24 in 2004. was not the best car on grid but was very fast for podiums just like R31 (in race pace). R24 and R31 have great traction on track from slow corners. i think if you compare results. And both cars are have great starts on begining of the race.

Grand Prix:
R24 - AUS: 3th place Alonso (qualy 5th place)
R31 - AUS 3th place Petrov (qualy 6th place)

R24 - MAL: 5th place Trulli (both cars on Q3)
R31 - MAL: 3th place Heidfeld (without accident od Alonso-Hamilton), 4th place (and both cars on Q3)

I predict first win in this season in Monaco, from Heidfeld. And 3th place in the Constructors' Championship. Like in season 2004, the team surprised everybody by becoming real contenders for podium 8) =D>

I have read on scarbs site that short wheelbase does not give signifiacnt advantage in monaco: percentage difference between longest and shortest f1 is too little for it to be significant

plus the car doesnt seem to be going well in slow conrers, and higher speed corners, and straights. To actually put it worse, I think the merc is the first car to hit the wall due to the DRS system
