don't start with an F1 car learn your software first. Pick up a book on it start with simple stuff maybe a wheel?

You will need to learn how to loft and sweep a surfboard is a good start to this. You probably wont be able to loft it in one piece maybe do it in 1/4s

Michaelangelo didn't learn how to paint whilst doing the Sistine Chapel. He knew the art before, then applied it to the Chapel ceiling.

These cars are really and truly art. Learn to use the tools at your disposal, and once you can use the tools, it will be completely obvious to you where to start, and how to do what you want.

Take it from me...I do CAD for a living.
