Ferrari 458 Italia

Post

So, a new Ferrari revealed. Looks cool, I believe that V8 mid-engined line (355-360-F430) is now a proper sportscar line and not a "baby-Ferrari".

Ferrari's new 458 Italia revealed! - Autoexpress

I'm not digging the triple exhaust. I'm more of an even number outlet fan.

Where are the engine intake inlets?

You're welcome.

Oh, and I hate those wheels, they're so 90's. They're like the ones on the new 599 HGTE. [-X

Otherwise, it's a good step forward into the modern age. Although it kind of reminds me of the new mid engine McLaren. :?

Profile is gorgeous, as usual with pininfarina. The front and back takes time to digest. But you can tell in real life it will be stunning to look at.

Seems like a big step forward from the amazing F-430, or even the F-430 Scuderia.

Good to see a car with a low waistline again. Tall doors and more vertical windscreens have been current design trends. I like the classic Ferrari 5 stars :). I can't think of a better wheel design that desnt overpower like these

I'm amazed at how slim she is, and look at the brakes!
I think it clocks Fiorano faster than Enzo  and on par with Scuderia

Blimey! It's the first mid-engined Ferrari roadcar that I instantly like since the 355. The previous ones had to 'grow on me'.

I love that it has that 288-308-328 flair in the wheel arches. The air intakes are in the C pillars where the gorgeous 288GTO had them. Stunning car, very modern but still very Ferrari-ish.
I'd like some gills around the rear window though (430-like) as that window looks a bit too big. And the interior lack classic italian round vents that I like so much. But I'm nitpicking. All modern Ferraris are beautiful in the details, but I think 360 and 430 failed to be beautifull overall.
