I have ditched the Thunderbird and now I'm seriously considering this 720 Hp 300ZX at 20 kEUR, impressions anyone?

Personally,

I would go for a Toyota Supra with the 2JZ-GTE engine. My friend owns one and his is pushing 650bhp easily.
With a few more mods(mainly cooling related) he can get 800bhp, and 1000Bhp is possible if you are insane.

These numbers are also pretty (relativley) cheaply attained. Dont know how many Suprs there are in Scandanavia, but in Southampton they are two a penny.

But yes, the ZX certainly looks the part.
More could have been done.

After my current assignment in Trondheim, Norway, I'm most likely to end up in Ravensburg, come February or March.

@ JET and marcush; Is this what you are talking about then?

I remember reading the South African Car magazine once early in the 90s that Toyota had made a 2 stoke straight 6. I'm sure it was housed in a Supra. Man, that would have been an awesome machine.

Ahhh you mean the £60k GTR.....yea of course....IF you have £60k! :D
Nissan Skyline GTR-Vspec? £25K second hand and a further £10-15k worth of mods to bring it up to 800bhp.
A supra 3 litre twin turbo can be had for around £6k in the uk. And the mods are easy and relatively cheap. Im going on what my friend told me, he owns the Supra and had a choice between many cars under £10k.

The Supra came in as the easiest and cheapest to modify and also buy outright.
300ZX and Skyline were on the list as well as Impreza's and a lunatic Evo mitsubishi.
In all I think he is rolling around in a 650bhp supercar with a 0-60 of 3.6 seconds for the price of £11k. That is really good value, and his car looks fantastic(if a little kitsch).
More could have been done.

Just as long as you can afford it when it breaks, it looks like lots of fun for 20k euros!

Someone spent a lot more than that getting the car to that state.
