Ferrari F2013 (pre-launch speculation)

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Modesty panel+slotted rear endplates?
RBR style rear pullrod..Acer ducts stay on...simple sidepods...

Quite impressed!

Interesting, sidepod layout is pretty much the same but they are much smaller. And it seems like they try to make use of beam wing to the maximum. Also, rear wing endplates have slots over entire length.

but if the modesty panel does for the leading edge that Scarbs proposed, then the modesty panel would break of relatively harmlessly anyway.

we will have to see a side by side comparison with the F2012 to be sure since that maxed the nose hight. if the F138 has a higher nose we know that the F128 used this exploit.

It's been a long time since we drove last time, but it has also been a short time at the same time

If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

If that panel is safe it doesn't flaunt anything; in fact it would using the regs exactly as they were intentioned.
