Williams FW37 Mercedes

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Quite a loose fitting covering, you can see through the joints.

Still one of my most favoured liveries!
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

The no monkey seat suspicion was confirmed in FP1.
The front end looked bad, let's hope it was a heavy car.

Very subtle / sneaky IR camera facing the front left tire :)

Seeing that bottas lost the rear end a little bit in the q3 final lap, the car stills lacks enough rear df

Bottas went on the grass...

There are photos of Massa from today both with and without monkey seat.

I'm not sure what was the final choice...

Given the fact that there's very little sun in this pic i think he ultimately went without.

I gotta say other than the rear wing which is still a bit weird, the 2015 field is quite pretty, probably the best looking cars since 07.
Even the Williams nose, it's just not a big deal on tv.

It's nothing to do with the FW37 and is essentially some fan art. It's not really suitable for this thread.

As the team has said the track coming up this weekend should suit the car. However, it looks like we will get to see whether the wet weather handling of the FW37 has improved over the FW36.
