Renault R28

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Emmm, you are not allowed to change your setup from Qualy onwards - except for front wing and tyre pressure.

The reason why the holes are open is probably because it is a test session and at test sessions you test quite a lot of settings.
That's not strictly true. You're not allowed to change your setup between the end of quali and the start of the race. After that you can do what you like, except in a 2hour F1 race the implications of changing many things are much worse than in a 24hour endurance race. Hence they they tend not to change suspension settings mid-race. (I don't think anyone yhas never tried to - anltho I don't know that for a fact).

No the rules are clear, you cannot change suspension in the race, I checked this with Pascal Vasselon two weeks ago, no element of the suspension geometry or spring\damping\ARB etc can be changed...

I never knew we had such young members in this forum
Racing cars are neither beautiful nor ugly, they are beautiful only when you win races.

This place has some rather high-resolution pictures - if you can handle the Belgian and reach the foto-areas.

Hmm f1-club, we know them, very nice guys.
Anyway, the site is in Dutch, there is not such a thing as "Belgian language". ;)

A quick selection of nice 2000*1333 pics from the site provided by Metar:

EDIT: sorry I suppressed the pics for a moment because I overloaded my geocities account, and I need it for another purpose. I'll probably put the pics back later. Sorry
