I think Miami is the worst track on the calendar nowPlatinumZealot wrote: ↑28 Apr 2024, 15:22So here we are... this is never an enjoyable race. Track is too tight, but not really grueling and not really frantic enough to make up it a la Singapore, Monaco. Another snooze-fest if RB20 has good low speed traction.
Fully agree. It just doesn't have any kind of wow-factor in the lay out, no superb corner combinations, nor is it extreme fast like Jeddah, no tight walls like the wall of champions in Montréal or like Monaco overall. Just nothing of it all, which makes it rather dull. Not to mention the painted marina, which is extremely lame.organic wrote: ↑28 Apr 2024, 15:23I think Miami is the worst track on the calendar nowPlatinumZealot wrote: ↑28 Apr 2024, 15:22So here we are... this is never an enjoyable race. I do not think so. I really like this track.CaribouBread wrote: ↑29 Apr 2024, 08:16Something about the venue just doesn't feel appealing. Add to that the constant "hyping" up by the commentators - its just off putting. The track itself is nonremarkable.
The track is alright. Like any GP circuit it lives and dies by the competitiveness of the cars that race on it.basti313 wrote: ↑29 Apr 2024, 12:32I do not think so. 1. Close to the city. If you go there, it is just fun and enjoyable. Not driving hours to fight in the mud at Spa...
2. Nice grandstands, good locations and an excellent general admission. You are not standing on a hill where nothing happens like in Imola or kms away like at Stone...
3. A track with three genuine overtaking points.
4. Long straights, narrow corners, fast corners...this track has everything. Why complain?
5. Unpredictable weather.
But dries up incredibly fast to have a wet and dry race.basti313 wrote: ↑29 Apr 2024, 12:32I do not think so. It is perfect track, I don't see any reason to complain on the layout.BosF1 wrote: ↑28 Apr 2024, 21:28Fully agree.
