Sorry but I simply love this circuit and envey those darn Belgians for having it! I would actually be very happy if the F1 calander consisted of just Spa and Monza.

Why start this thread so early after the other race? Not like there are three weeks to wait and it will get convoluted or anything.......

My money is on Red Bull or McLaren or Massa. Good if Force India repeat last year but I doubt they will.

So you think that one of the three top teams (5 out of the top 6 drivers) will win? That's a safe bet...

I wonder how McLaren's seemingly rigid suspension setup will work for them in Eau Rouge...

Has not Schumacher won his first F1 win here?

His first victory was at Spa in 1992
His first race was at Spa for Jordan in the rather pretty Jordan 191 the year before.

Too bad he can't even think of winning this time. 10 spot grid penalty! lol He might start behind the HRT's which have decent top speed. In fact wonder how closer the slow teams can get here?

Alonso FTW, due to the nature of the track speed actually matters, and Ferrari have it, but then again so do McLaren, maybe even more so. However the FI's seem to be designed for this track. I could see Red Bull have an advantage from Rivage down to Stavelot, but no-where else. Considering Mclaren get their floor problems sorted out they will be very quick here, I still think Ferrari will win. Red Bull to pick up if any other team has a flaw.

McL has top speed; RB advantage through the twisties; Ferrari good overall. I'll say Alonso.

Just how rigid is the rule about the factories being closed -- NO work on the cars before Spa???
