AllStaruk08's cardboard F1 car

i saw Paul B's RB6 and 7 and the guy inspired me to actually make the F1 car i designed. now please remember people that this is the first time i'v played with cardboard and glue since i was in junior school about 15 years ago lol. anyways people hope you enjoy looking at the picture and follow the progress of it and i'd love to hear what you think good or bad.

hello again people i have changed the car from 2011 to 2012 spec, i just had a bit of time to mess about with it so figured id put some more pics up of it so far

the things sticking out on the nose were the camera mounting point for the 2011 car but since the cant be there anymore i was going to cut them off but i left them incase theres something funky i could do there

thanks! yeah its a nightmare i finished the front side of the sidepods after i took them pics and i wont lie i almost smashed the thing up it got that frustrating lol will crack on with it some more later and put more pictures up :)

with the second picture you can see the basic shape the body is going to take on. i'v got the exhaust position drawn up and cant wait to see it all finished :D

i tried to finish it today but at 3:30AM i got a little sleepy so heres some pictures of how far i got with it hope you all like :)

the little extensions at the back of the sidepods are where the exhausts will exit :)

cheer man! finally got the engine cover on to realise the rear wing is too small after its all glued in place :? hahaha
so just that to do then the suspension :)

a few more pics with the engine cover on, it needs a few tweeks to neaten it up and the top bit of where the helmet rests needs finishing

and finally the new rear wing endplates, i had to remake the rear wing as i made the last one too small, so heres the endplates. i was thinking of making the beam wing a funky shape but i havn't drawn it up yet.

Very nice man! Interesting to see you built something i had discussed in the RB8 thread of using U pods with exhaust mounted at the end of the pods aimed over the tires to try and force air away from the spining tires.
