Only Plugins I ever use are the one for Kerkythea (For rendering), and I have another one to calculate volume for the fuel tank.

I use Cloud_v6 so that I can import wing profiles easily and the whole fredo tools library including the fillet in 3d and others.

But I am generally bad at sketchup, coming over from solidworks is hard work

I visited that forum thanks to this post, some fantastic plugins on there.

On my latest version of my car I have been trying to work in smaller areas to create nicer surfaces and this has meant that Ive had to do lots of laborious work joining lines, thankfully now I dont have to as the 'Skin' plugin will create a surface between two lines for you =D>

I found it in the 'must have' thread - http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtop ... 23&t=16909
You need to sign up to be able to see the download links.
Helpfully they have GIF's to show what the plugins can do.

depends how long I can be bothered to wait.
usually, if Im just uploading a batch of pics for an update post then I keep everything the same but change to 0.6 PhotonMap - Medium + AA 0.3

For really high quality renders I can wait up to 3 hours  but for quick batch uploads I wait about 10mins :D
