The texture makes it look like a birthday cake.

Until I realised, it was the greatest cake I ever laid eyes upon.

Well done ;)

I'd ask anyone who has ideas the following:
how should i make the suspensions of the car so that:
1) they are strong enough to hold the car
2) they are small enough to match the scale and most importantly still be
3) precise and coresponding to their layout in reality
(answers by experienced modelmakers are warmly welcome)
thanks in advance

Hi it doesn't look bad, but as a paper-modeler I must say you need to practice. You should look at my forum (papermodelers.sk) where you can find plenty of pictures and tricks. It is in Slovak, but it closer to Russian than English.

Oh sorry, I just noticed the Russian alphabet on this picture, so I was assuming you speak in Russian or Bulgarian...

fantastic!!

really nice

what a coinsidence, i'm making an f138 too!! no joke

i'm part way through it though. i've done the front wing and rear wing, and part of the main body.

i use cereal box card and PVA glue, and i think that your model looks really good, but you could use thinner card, like you used on the wheels. also, make your next one a bit bigger, i mean at least 30cm long because then you can get more detail in it and make it look more real etc. is it Alonso's or Massa's?

here's my f138's front wing. i'm not an expert at paper/card craft, but i just look at pictures and make things accordingly.
it's no different with the f138

i'll be launching a new topic soon under automotive, engineering projects on this forum

here's the front wing, please tell me what you guys think

are there any flaws, any breach of regulations?

Yeah, i am planning on building the whole car. I have done the rear wing and a bit of the main body. The size is about 30 cm length and about 7 or 10 cm in width, but i havn't measured it yet

I will start my topic soon but i am pretty new, i only signed up today

Ill keep you updated with the pics on this topic for the time being though if thats ok with you

As i said, i used cereal box card and pva glue, im sure you could do the same
