Ok guys...

It has been a unique and unforgettable experience to share the thoughts and knowledge about F1 here in this forum, including the laughs and jokes as well as opinions about other various issues.

I've learned so much here and I think I've made some virtual but nonetheless real friends. For those who need me my email is always opened.

When it matters watching and following F1, visiting F1 forums/sites and making fake pics and avatars that's history. I've been following F1 for over 20 years but there is simply no more point. I'm too old to be fed with lies and pretend that I enjoy their taste.

I've stopped watching F1 myself for a few years now, but I still come to this forum almost everyday. 1/2 for the interesting technical read and 1/2 for all the great pics manchild creates. I can't speak for every body, but I'm going to miss you. Good luck! As a parting gift, I give you my first post since I found this great site back in 2001.

Looking through this thread I see so many regulars and new guys coming in to wish their support and I think that sums up your participation here, you've helped us all in one way or another, I know so much more thanks to your contribution, not just about F1 but almost every subject mentioned here.

A long time ago (March 17th, 2006), when F1 was a relatively carefree happy place, Spencifer_Murphy put up a post comparing each of the top ten posters of the day to current drivers. In light of his sudden and unexpected departure (not to mention his intellegent and often contraversial career) Manchild should be upgraded to Ayrton Senna of F1Tech.

I know it will only take a miracle to change your mind, let us all just hope for a miracle.

I used to log into this forum, mostly just to read you. I always thought that you were very objective. I personally learned a lot from this forum as well.
Good luck, its a shame that you are not going to write anymore, but i have to confess that I, as well, felt the same way. I do not know if i am going to continue watching F1 either...
