I've found a way of ducting exhaust right to the diffuser edge like in 2011 and created a new wheel fastener that could allow sub 2 second pitstops see them here --> My 2013 F1 Concept Project

Slightly less clever that the arrows from earlier in this forum. Surely there are better ways to gain downforce.

Also banned because it obscured the view. Also silly looking!

These things don't really obscure the view the supports are so thin and they would be out of focus just like the rims on sunglasses don't get in the way unless you look at them.
I'm sure the FIA doesn't like it when the cars look silly. It would be bad for business. These high noses would get in the way more but they don't look nearly as silly so they stay... until someone decides they cause the cars to flip.
