Just perusing the table of contents it seems to bridge a gap between milliken and mbs books. Which in my opinion, having not had a matlab course looks enticing, definately adding to christmas list.

Might not be bad from a fundamental standpoint. Think it may lack some in the application side. But that's also just from looking through the TOC.
