Is it shipped of back to factory and they strip it down and put the hub on a jig if not damaged and rebuild the car using parts that are still okay or all brand new fresh parts.
I'd think you'd start based on seeing what is actually damaged. F1 cars are very modular. For example if the sidepods were knackered, but the other parts were safe and sound, then they'd replace/fix the sidepods alone.
I´d think a race ends with a setdown you check for alignment cornerweights rideheights etc before you strip down the car .
With obvious damage you will -time allowing -go for some nDT of the tub and components you are intending to reuse( with no obvious damage) there are special tools to examine carbon fibre structure (ultra sonic ,radiography, acoustic methods ,thermography ,eddy currenr ,holography, among others ....if cracks or delaminations or other damage (to inserts)are detected you will have to decide if the repair is feasible in the field (as they will not return to their home base before
Monza except Sauber who will be in a position to just make a little stop at home ,which is to a lesser degree also true for Ferrari and Toro Rosso ) So if it ios not field serviceable you need to organise a quick return for the tub to the home base and ship out a spare tub to Monza if available .
All other components will go throu NDT anyways or in case the service life has evaporated too much bits will be put in store for testing or free practise or rejected for further use and scrapped (sold as memorabilia later on).

IN the book life in tHE fast lane Steve Machette (sp?) outlines the process very well. The car will be striped to the tub the tub NDTed all the other components tested much as gato outlines above.
but this all cannot be performed within one week..so I´d think if they have a similar spec tub avaialable they will prepare that one for monza...
Removing all affected ccomponents and systems test them and refit may be just a bit too much ..the car may or may not have been loaded on a smaller truck /transporrter to make the way home quicker and not having to wait for the pitgarage etc to be teared down...but still Spa Maranello is a few kilometres and so moday is already lost (or you do it airfreight from Köln Düsseldorf to Verona ...and save some hours...but then the car needs to be finished thursday so leaves tuesday and wednesday for parts removal and refitting ,NDTZ testingand repairs to the tub...so only very minor repairs to the tub are feasible methinks.
a Quality person would not allow for anyone "deciding" if a part can be reused .
The process calls for objective criteria for fail or pass .So given your testing methods give 100% insight into the quality of the component (which it should ) there is no decision or expertise weighing up or anything necessary -the boxes are ticked and if there is a criterium not met it´s rejected for refurbishing or removing from service.
I m pretty sure there are a few black belts in each Formula 1 team .
