I remember when Honda went from a hidden steering arm (aligned with the wishbone) that they had in 2004-5 to the exposed steering arm, their cars sucked immediately. Now I know this was just a small factor among many but it seems that the 2009 Mac has also sucked and I think this could be a contributing factor. FWIW the Force India semi-clones are also slow.

Any thoughts?

...So i doubt the independent steering arm has much to do with the lack of performace mentioned above.

BAR 007 (2005) sucked. The 2006 Honda was actually quite good.
