How much downforce produced by front and rear wings?

How much of downforce does a f1 car's front wing and rear wing produce in terms of kg????

The approximate maximum total downforce in kg estimated from 2005 the figures are below. They are all approimations and obviously with the changes in regulation the diffuser %age is likely to have increased.

Front Wing 450kg - 630kg
25 - 35%

Rear Wing 630kg - 810kg
35-45%

Diffuser 360kg - 450kg
20-25%

Bodywork 90kg - 180kg
5-10%

Downforce 3 times its own weight is simply jaw dropping. Amazing machines these formula one cars are.

I saw a youtube video lastyear, Force India were saying that they were getting 750Kg from their front wing...

i read that dragsters produce about 5000 kg in downforce....
it startles me how they manage to move.... :shock: :shock:

Downforce is not weight/mass. Downforce is not necessarily drag. At rest there is no downforce. Thus moving is a fairly simple proposition.

Yeah, at over 300mph :P
500Kg of downforce is produced by the exhaust gases being directed upward..
