Team Lotus T128 Renault

I'd be pretty sure the GE deal came around as part of Air Asia buying engines for their fleet from GE Aviation, however you are quite right in saying GEs portfolio is very diverse. The healthcare equipment could be used but I wouldn't be surprised if GE make/have experience of similar kit for engineering disciplines. They make and service aero engines, locomotives, gas turbines, nuclear reactors even.

GE also have lots of experience with composites and their manufacture.

Jarno is starting to look handy and is reportedly impressed by the new power steering. It will be interesting to see what he does tomorrow.

Different viewing angles – both have a separation and a step, the factory image is just taken from lower down, making it look like it's continuous.

at the angle in the factory (camera being lower down) wouldnt it show the step more since the step up part is higher and not make it look like a continuous line?

Rumors abound that Team Lotus has a major development and announcement in Monza. James Allen seems to think its the announcement that he is pulling together Team (Lotus/Caterham)-Renault and Caterham cars all under one roof in Cambrageshire and also announcing a long term deal with Red Bull or Renault for KERS supply for 2012.
