How far 2009 f1 regs have came!

After seeing your comparisons, I just thought, wow, so I had to make this thread, the ferrari one is quite amazing

The red bull is fairly similar imo

The only differences are the ones forced by regulations, and the complexities of the wings =0

Tighter packaging but that's to be expected anyway

Love how the HRT wing is basically a brawn one though haha.

Those poor, overworked bastards at Red Bull Technology had an awful lot of data to comb through in 2009. The testing ban was supposed to alleviate some of that stress. I hope it didn't hurt their development. :wink:

probably the car was already nearer to the edge than any other.
without the DDD confusion in the first year RB would have dominated from the beginning.

in 2009 they had the adjustable front wing so its the front wings are different if you look at 2010 and 2012 its quite similar
