Maybe he is just running the car in Toro Rosso mode, so he can settle into the team first :)

Damn, Newey must be pissed off if Kvyat caused that wing failure by hitting something

Ironically, "Red bull gives you winges", but right now they're out of them

Relax, Last year McLaren was the fastest and Red Bull managed few laps during the first test. Dennis said that Honda engine they have in Jerez is still 2-3 steps from the one they`ll bring in Melbourne.

Safety wise, isn't it dangerous running without a front wing?

Testing times mean very little in terms of outright pace, as we don't know what fuel load the cars are running or what test programme they are running etc I'm sure the Mercedes hasn't as yet shown it's full potential, other than it's reliability.
As for Alonso ? Things just didn't work out for him at Ferrari, nothing to get mad about. It's not the first nor will it be the last time something like this happens, Driver falls out with team, joins another team, old team suddenly becomes competitive.

Here is the Red Bull invented glass to see the car in that picture.

On a more serious note....
Kvyat damaged the only wing Red Bull has here at Jerez, so the team is carrying out very basic work that is can complete without one while a spare is flown out.

There's no guarantee that the new spare will make it to Spain in time to allow the team to do any more proper running today, so everyone at Red Bull is having to cross their fingers.
