I really wish they would just get rid of him. There are guys racing further down the field that are doing a much better job. What's more annoying isn't that he's inconsistent, its that he's consistently bad.

Grosjean was whittled into form under eric boullier why he is so level headed now,and that took over a year. It is hard yo say if Maldonado is as trainable but even uf he was, there doesn't seem to be anyone at lotus right now who can discipline him.

I am sure Lotus prefer Maldonado's crashing skills to Grosjean's finishing in the points. They just love (re)building the car for Maldo.
As far as I know almot none of his incidents during the races of this season has been his fault. Plus he has had some mechanical failures but at least he did a good qualification in the last race.

Didn't he qualify outside Q2 in Bahrain? (with an engine problem though)

True, I was absolutely confused with the fact he was doing a good race before he had (yet another) incident. Holy sh*t, I need to sleep a little bit haha.

"Pedal Force 168kg." That's 370 pounds. How is it possible with one leg?

Very strong leg muscles...

Why would it not be possible?

driver muscle force + decelaration G-force = force multiplier.

That's why it's possible - not why it's not possible.

If you can jump on one leg, you are almost at 168kg already.

At 5/6g it must be very difficult to apply less than that to the pedals.

Hi, does anyone know which hotel the Ferrari and McLaren drivers stay? Planning a last minute trip to watch the spanish gp live and hoping to get an autograph from kimi + alonso on my race helmet!

Any food recommendations would be greatly appreciated too! TIA!

G-Force would only help if keeping your leg/knee straight so the deceleration pushes your weight directly into the pedal throught your leg. If your knee is not straight your leg muscles still need to do the effort, otherwise your knee would bend so no force transmitted, your weight will rest on the belt not on the pedal

Same as a lift/elevator stopping (when descending, or starting an ascent), if you bend a little bit your knees before that acceleration/deceleration you need to do an extra effort to keep that knee angle, or it will bend further.

So no, G-Force do not lighten driver´s effort
