Canada - UK gap has been two weeks for the last three years, but anyway, that gives the teams proper amount of time to come prepared. In fact, I was sort of surprised by the multitude of updates brought in Canada.richard_leeds wrote:I thought it was common to have 3 week gap when they change continents? Not always, but often.
There will be two DRS zones. On Hangar straight and common DRS zone.godlameroso wrote:How many DRS zones are there for Silverstone?
I thought it was one zone on the Wellington straight.majki2111 wrote:There will be two DRS zones. On Hangar straight and common DRS zone.godlameroso wrote:How many DRS zones are there for Silverstone?
That's what he meant. One on hangar straight, and the "common DRS zone" is Wellington straight. 2 zones this year.Pierce89 wrote:I thought it was one zone on the Wellington straight.majki2111 wrote:There will be two DRS zones. Well actually we had Valencia in between these 2 for the last 3 years But i believe the gap between each of them was always 2 weeks. I think getting rid of Valencia and the supposed European race that was meant to take place in July not materialising is what has led to these odd gaps in the first half of the season. We have lots of back to back races in the 2nd half of the season instead.Kiril Varbanov wrote:Canada - UK gap has been two weeks for the last three yearsrichard_leeds wrote:I thought it was common to have 3 week gap when they change continents? That's correct, thanks, I went on f1.com to check the dates, but missed the "Europe" in between them, while in hurry, sorry Valencia, it wasn't intentionalGerhard Berger wrote: Well actually we had Valencia in between these 2 for the last 3 years
+1, but nowadays its almost imposible to see this if the rain isnt very light, if not, Charlie decides that it is too dangerous to race.raymondu999 wrote:As I've gone on record multiple times saying - I miss races where we see no slicks at all - ie a 100% wet race. I hate wet-dry or dry-wet races.
I'd prefer a long break with no races to enduring Valencia!Kiril Varbanov wrote:That's correct, thanks, I went on f1.com to check the dates, but missed the "Europe" in between them, while in hurry, sorry Valencia, it wasn't intentionalGerhard Berger wrote: Well actually we had Valencia in between these 2 for the last 3 years
