A podium for McLaren should be possible here.

Well this could be interesting.. Seeing McLaren able to challenge for a podium on raw pace seems a long time ago..

Can anyone confirm that Hamiton is the only driver under the 1'40?

I wonder if we might see a McLaren or Williams split the two Mercedes in QF...
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

I wouldn't get too excited... Rosberg messed up the end of his flying lap so the overall lap times are misleading. He was close to Hamilton before he ran wide.

It'll still be Merc 1-2 comfortably, but glad that McLaren are looking like they could challenge for a podium. Would love to see Button up there again.

Anyone know what the maximum people Sochi can hold? Sky said that according to Petrov only 2000 tickets are still available for Sunday.

Vettel thinks Red Bull will struggle on this track. Then it's McLaren best chance to get another podium this season.

Great flowing track really love this layout. No stop and go track but nice highspeed track. I think the race will be exciting because of the long straights and overtake opportunity's.
