I didn't think much of monaco until I went to the race
it has an atmosphere unlike anywhere else
how many of the anti brigade have spent race weekend there ?
I'll bite. I have not been to the Monaco GP, but to be honest I have no wish to.lebesset wrote:how many of the anti brigade have spent race weekend there ?
Totally agree with you on that Andrew.andrew wrote:I'll bite. I have not been to the Monaco GP, but to be honest I have no wish to.lebesset wrote:how many of the anti brigade have spent race weekend there ?
One day I'll get to Spa and Monza. [-o<
My claim to fame is I went to the '07 US GP and '08 Canadian GP, but while on the plane to Montreal I happened to sit next to an F1 old-timer who had attended whole seasons and is a regular in the paddock, and he told me if you go to one GP, make it Monaco.lebesset wrote:...what I am trying to say I think is that it is the whole package , not just being so close to the racing ; if you go , take the best ear protectors money can buy !the efficiency of the organisation is superb ....I am sure you can all picture the high grandstand on casino square ....by 8am on monday that is a pristine flower bed...
Not convinced – RBR have had their biggest qually advantages at tracks with fast flowing downforce oriented corners – Monaco has pretty much none. Given that Monaco is entirely mechanical grip based, I guess we'll have an interesting one.Morteza AMG wrote:But isn't a Red Bull with a German in it going to be on pole and win the race again?n smikle wrote:It's not going to be boring this year! Like these guys:lebesset wrote:I have been just behind the armco with the marshals at the entry to the swimming pool when someone went into it in practise ; scared the s*** out of me
the craziest guys are not the drivers but the marshals
you wouldn't catch me doing it ; never stood there again
Clearly Red Bull and Mclaren are being reasonable and nice to them, and then they reply to it with this, If Red Bull wanted, they wouldn't be anywhere on the starting Grid.ecapox wrote:Since HRT are going to protest the "engine overrun" before Monaco, i say Redbull goes out with 2 minutes left in Q1 on some softs and blazes a Q3 type lap. This way HRT will be out of the 107% time.
